So my doctor thinks l have a pleurisy but didnt give much detail. after he confirms it, how long does it take to get treatment for it and is it at a hospital? also, whats the recovery conditions like?

There really is not much treatment for it depending on what is causing it. Most of the time you can only take pain meds to make it feel better. Youc can learn more about it and the treatment of the different types of pleurisy here.
l had it this summer and it lasted for about 3 weeks. It was not fun and there was not anything they could do for me besides telling me to take advil.
