what do u think about smoking

Vile and disgusting. Hurts people all around you, l should know, l have asthma from my dad smoking.
It is just slow suicide for yourself and others. If you want to kill yourself like that, do that by yourself alone away from people, no one else needs to pay for your addiction.
It is a horrible thing, and harmful habit.

Well its a bad thing for your health so l would stay off it and its bad for the health around you. so really l do not like it. But hey that is only what l think.

l quit april 4, 2007 and l am glad l was finally able to kick cigarettes. l had smoked 25 years.

l think as society we have ostracised smokers too much.
l personally have no respect for young people who smoke & l think it stinks & can see the damage it can do to people on a daily basis, however l also see people with lung cancer who never smoked ( & people just assume that they did smoke & that it is there fault that they have lung cancer.) & l do not think we can currently blame the people who r suffering from smoking for years because when they started the negative effects were not known & it is addictive.
l do not have any respect for those who smoke & who r at an age where they knew better when they started.
But l do not believe we should treat those who r sick whether smoking had anything to do with it or not any differently

i have a fake coughing fit everytime l walk past someone and once someone told me off and said l was being a drama queen and it was rude so l went right up to her face and coughed. she wasnt very happy at all.

Do not consider it. You will save your health and money.

As we all read a lot about Smoking and its effects l do agree that Smoking should be banned all over the globe,as we all know its disadvantages.

Cigarettes r legal poisons.

Smoking poisons the smoker & everyone around him. It leads to many different diseases, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, the commonest type of lung cancer (there r other less common types that is not related to lung cancer), oral & laryngeal cancer. Many other cancers r found to be linked to smoking to a lesser extent. It increases the chance of pneumothorax, heart problems, hypertension, & also asthma in children with smoking parents.

A lot of money is spent on cigarettes - not just the smokers themselves, but also the taxpayers. Smoking-related illness place a huge stress on the public healthcare system.

However, medical professionals do treat patients equally & would not treat smoking patients differently - other than more time spent on counselling them to quit smoking.

And finally - other than getting addicted, have cravings & nicotine dependence, smelling bad, yellowing of teeth & fingers, & being avoided by many people, l do not see what benefits smoking has. Smokers do not even look cool (contrary to popular belief).

l smoke. Its addictive and l have tried to quit with at least 10 different methods. It should be illegal, then l would have to quit.
