I am throwing up, my ribs hurt, I am having trouble breathing, I am running a high fever 103+ And l am dizzy and tired. My doctor does not know what l have and I've just been taking ibuprofin, every other 4 hours, and asprin every other 4 hours l do not know what to do. l was tested for strep and for the flu it is neither.
I am not coughing except a little bit. Every now and then my nose will run a little bit and l cough it up but other than that l do not, and it is just phlegm coloured phlegm, white. No abdominal pain. l am on my period, but l do not know what that would have to do with it.
Also l just realized that it is just my left side that hurts.

First, your fever must come down! Ice yourself and take TYLENOL (not aspirin). If your fever does not change, take a cool bath/shower. Finally, if that does not work, you really need to go to the E.R. so they can try and get the fever down.

First of all, stop using aspirin & ibuprofin at the same time. Taking multiple non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs can cause permanent damage to ur stomach in the form of ulcers & perforation. So unless u want to see the miracle of a bloody toilet when u have bowel movement, stick to one or the other.

As for ur symptoms, do u have a cough & if so, r u coughing up any dark colored sputum? If so, u could have pneumonia in ur lungs, in which case you'd need to go to a hospital & get a chest X-ray.
Do u experience any pain in ur abominal region as well? Any sharp pain in the stomach in addition to the symptoms u described could also mean appendicitis, which causes fever, vomiting, & chest pain due to pain referral.
In either case, if u feel like it is becoming a huge problem, forget ur family doctor & go to a hospital where they can run labs & tests within hours, not days.

EDIT: Go to an ER & have them do chest X-rays & any other tests the doctors say u need. Unilateral chest pain is usually not a good sign.
