It makes me queezy & l get heart burn.. Make sure u do not take it within 2 hours of taking any antacids, calcium or iron. Do not drink dairy within 2 hours of taking cipro & try to stay out of the heat & sun as much as possible. Taking the cipro makes u burn like there is no tomorrow while in the sun.

l tend to do alright if l stick to those guide lines. l find for me if l set the alarm for an hour or so before l have to get up & take the cipro then & go back to sleep & then take it a few hours before bedtime that l do not notice the side effects that much. Like If u have to be up at 8am then set ur alarm for 6 or 7 & take the cipro & go back to sleep for a couple hours & then later that night take it around 7pm so that ur headed to bed soon.

Good luck l hope it helped

Common side-effects - these affect less than 1 in 10 people who take this medicineWhat can l do if l experience this
Feeling or being sickStick to simple foods such as dry toast. Drink plenty of water to replace lost fluids.
DiarrhoeaDrink plenty of water to replace lost fluids. If diarrhoea is severe or there is blood in it stop taking ciprofloxacin & contact ur doctor as soon as possible.
HeadacheAsk ur pharmacist to recommend a suitable pain-killer.
Dizziness, drowsinessDo not drive, operate machinery or carry out any other jobs that could be dangerous if u were not fully alert.
IndigestionTry taking ciprofloxacin with food (not dairy products). Antacids should not be taken within 2 hours of a dose of ciprofloxacin

Ciprofloxacin is an antibiotic used to treat or prevent certain infections caused by bacteria. Ciprofloxacin is also used to treat or prevent anthrax in people who may have been exposed to anthrax germs in the air. Ciprofloxacin extended-release (long-acting) tablets r used only to treat certain types of urinary tract infections. Ciprofloxacin is in a class of antibiotics called fluoroquinolones. It works by killing bacteria.
Please see the web pages for more details on its side effects.
