Had it last May l do not wish to get it again!It was a total nighmare as l could not sleep took almost 3 months to get rid of it.

Some of you who have had it before how do you avoid getting it again?

l am having sinus problems and sinus headach. because of the temperature dropping.
Had a fever and chills bloody phlem,orange phlem and yellow phlem (sorry so gross) shortness of breath, ears popping, runny nose ect.

l dont have time to get sick again. l am trying to get permanant at my new job. SO how do l avoid it?

l also need tips as well to avoid it. l keep a scarf over my nose and mouth when l go outside to avoid the cold air.

l have also seen a lung specialist they said nothing was wrong with my lungs.
They do have 95% functional though.
The lung doctors said my lungs where clear.
l also had a cat scan as well. They found nothing.

Get a flu shot and ask your Dr about a pneumonia shot.
Best way not to get sick is WASH YOUR HANDS!!!

Since u seem to have multiple issues, not just the pneumonia, I'd suggest u see a couple of doctors. First, u need to see an ENT (ear-nose-throat) specialist to discover why you're having sinus infections, ear popping, etc. Drops in the temperature do not cause sinusitis. If they did, everyone would have sinus problems. Second, u need to see a pulmonologist (lung specialist) about ur phlegm & shortness of breath. If u do not get to ur problems, do not hesitate to get the opinions of other doctors. Most people do not walk around sick with these things, & the weather changes all over the world. Something in particular is wrong with you, & u need to find a doctor who can discover what it is.

Well.. l must say, the guy ''Thy B'' above me has some pretty wise suggestions, that l would have advised u with as well !!! An ENT is the exact professional u need to consult as well as an lung-specialist !!

You see.especially since u r ''prone'' to such a disease, u need to get extra care, honey !!! It is a good idea to wear a scarf.sure..but u can also take additional vitamines to strengthen ur immune system, baby!!!

BUT: do see a specialist & such a flu-shot is not a ''bad idea'' either!!! l sure wish & hope all will be well with you..especially now at ur new job l wish u all the luck in the world, babe! l shall do a ''special prayer'' for you..May u be well through the coming winter-season !
