Hello. I've had sinus pressure, head congestion, runny nose etc, for weeks now and it is just killing me. Ruins everything and prevents me from getting work done. I am behind in everything because I am always lying down with sinus headaches. It is due to seasonal allergies, but it is really bad this year. l have not felt well since early September.

A complicating factor is that I am in the first trimester of pregnancy, so that limits what l can take for relief. My OBGYN told me that Tylenol Cold & Sinus was fine, but it does not work for me. Most other OTC meds are off limits.

So, do you know any natural remedy that would open my head up? A tea, an herb, or something like that? I am really suffering with this and I'd be very grateful for any suggestions.

l am with ya there. I've got horrible seasonal allergies and they've turned into a sinus infection (but thankfully, l am not pregnant!) The only thing l can suggest is to drink lots and lots of water, drink lots of hot liquids as well (it will feel good going down), eat something kind of spicy, and take a very long and steamy shower.

This is a natural ancient way to care for sinus problems. Hope this helps it works great for my Son.

Drink warm tea, with honey, soups, not boiling hot but warmer than warm to the touch, also, get some of that hot mustard they make at the chinese place, that helps sinuses to clear. Be careful, it make choke you if you take too much. Also, ricola cough drops work really well if you can stand the taste and they are made of natural ingredients.

Eucalyptus in a vaporizer will help and start to take eccenasia vitamins
2 weeks on 1 off and vitamin c to help build your immunity against colds.

l feel ur suffering-my asthma & allergies were the worst when l was pregnant.
Use a simple warm salt water solution to rinse out ur nose. 1/4 tsp table salt in 8 oz.warm water.,mix well. You can use a VERY clean cup & snort the salt water solution into ur nose & blow gently. This works great,without chemicals or antibiotics! You will be amazed how it feels. Cost me $65 at the ENT to find this tip.
(Some people use a Neti pot, a cup will do)
