Okay, so ive been kinda sick lately, and l told my mom all my symptoms and she said that l probebly have a sinus infection...and when l am sick, l really like to know what l have and whats happenin to me. So, if any of you know anything about them please answer these few questions:

1. What are they?
2. How did l get it?
3. Does your snot HAVE to be be an odd or different color? because mine is a clearish green...ekk >: P
4. Can they get passed on to people or animals?
5. What are a couple symptoms?
6. Do they have to be treated in order for them to go away?
7. Do your lymph nodes get swolen in the front and back of your neck? because mine deff. are

My ears have also been bothering me a little lately also my throat has been red in the back and hurting too, is that a symptom? And my face just feels lyk something is pushing/pulling on it at the same time.

Usually a rhinovirus (rhino - meaning nose). The mucus is produced by ur sinus trying to flush the infection out. Your swollen neck is the infection in ur glands (it has spread). People viruses like to stick with people. You could have picked it up from stuff in the air or a dirty door knob - we r surrounded by viruses & bacteria. Your body will fight it off in about a week. A doctor can not cure ur virus (viral cold infection), only rest & liquids will help while u heal. A sore throat might be strepthroat & ear infections can be bad, as can sinus infections. If u do not feel better in a few days l would suggest a visit with ur doctor.
