What are things that make asthma worse? Does not using your inhaler when you need to make your asthma worse?

Like, l mean, over time.

It varies by person. My allergies are extremely severe so they tend to make my asthma worse. Right now, for example, my allergies are not under control so l have been having frequent asthma attacks. l find when my allergies are under control so is my asthma. Generally speaking not taking your medications as prescribed will make it worse. Usually, if you take your meds and avoid things that tend to flair up your asthma (if possible) you should be ok.

l have asthma and smoke is bad for it, for me allergies make it worse and even going from cold to warm ( bike ride in winter , then going inside to warm fire) all that stuff can maek your asthma worse. l have been trying to not use my inhaler and it does make it better. but you should use it sometimes

Allergies trigger asthma. Emotional 'stuff'' can trigger the attack.
l find that it is best to log down the times you get an attack.
l check the weather.and the environment..i try to see if there is a pattern. Work with your doc sometimes the meds you are using may need to be changed. You MUST use meds when you are suppose to use it,
