basically meaning it has gotten rid of the need for you to sufficantly inhale air

yes you should talk to a doctor though there isnt often much they can do except start to take you off it for such periods at a time

You should tell your doctor. But it is probably because you are not getting enough oxygen. If you're supposed to wear oxygen 24/7 and you do not wear it at times, then your blood oxygen drops and that might explain why you get headaches. But, it would not hurt for you to ask your doctor.

You r getting headaches because ur body is used to the constant supply of Oxygen & when u deplete ur body or brain & bloodstream of that extra Oxygen it may make u light headed or dizzy or even get a headache. l think that the next time, try to take an aspirin about 20 minutes before u cut back on the Oxygen & then slowly turn down the Oxygen by half for about 10 minutes then half again for about 5 minutes & then off. see if that works & u dont get a headache. If it persists then, tell ur Doctor & see what u can do. Hope that this helps.

l am working to lower my O2 dependency. l am fortunate enough to have a pulse oximetry monitor and am trying to use that to identify any symptoms that l have when my blood oxygen saturation falls too low. a headache is one of these signs. you do need to discuss this with your doc to be sure you are not letting your sats get dangerously low. if he/she writes an order for the equipment you may be able to get this from whoever supplies your O2. be careful.

Mariel is correct. Let me tell u why u r getting a headache. Because of ur condition, u require oxygen. When u take it off, ur O2 level in ur blood most likely drops. Your body is normal response to this is to increase ur respiratory rate to help increase the O2 consumption. An increased respiratory rate can cause u to have a headache becaue of a decrease in ur CO2 level... u r now blowing off too much CO2. CO2 is a natural vasodilator & when u blow too much off it can cause vasoconstriction, therefore causing dizziness/headaches.
