My BUN (for kidney) was a 7 out of a limit of 5-26. Is that bad? Also my alkaline phosphatase was 75 with a limit of 45-300 (for liver). l was just so shook up about some other things l left without really asking.

l am not a doc, but ur test results r pretty easy to interpret. Both test results r within the normal range. A BUN of 7 is excellent for kidney function, & for the liver, this value it generally means absolutely nothing one way or another.

Your alkaline phosphatase results r also unremarkable.

Having both of these test results at the low end of the normal range could occur if a person was dieting, fasting, or eating low amounts of protein in the days preceding the tests; but otherwise, these results do not indicate any type of problem.

If the are normal why are you asking. Also why are you having these test done. Are worried about some like hepatitis honestly l think you are worried about something else
