Smoking will only make a cold worse if you already have a cough along with the cold otherwise it will not alter the course of the cold, a cold takes three days to come, three days to stay, and three days to go...you may want to hold of the cigs until its completely gone though as it could cause a chest infection, any green phlegm will need a trip to the docs.

Cigarettes will make you feel better even while they are threatening your life.That is why you are addicted to them. l always smoked while l had a cold, and always felt better. There are several other addictive substances that would hae done this also, but they are illegal.

The truth is cigarettes are addictive, and will harm your body sooner or later. Most likely will kill you.
