I've been coughing here and there w/ a runny nose and mucus in the throat and on and off sinus aches and its been 10 months now. Some days it will be hardly noticeable some days it will be severe... and recently someone in my class was coughing real bad and l think l caught what she had because past several days i will cough for 10 minutes straight which l have not done before.

now my question is should l go to the doctor? l have seen a ''nose'' doctor and she said l had dust allergies(without running any tests by the way) i've tried taking claritin and zyrtec and both did not help at all... would it be a waste of money and time to see a doctor?
