Yo! Last week, l got a tb shot and the nurse said if there was still a bump, l was positive. Ok, l have no bump, but its red. Wtf is up with this?

As long as it is not raised, it is negative. The redness is just a little irritation in the skin not related to tb.

thats odd. Your suppose to go back to the doctor anyway so they can read the results of your arm. but since it happened last week l am assuming you went back already within 2 days. If anything it is probably the medicine still in your arm. it takes a while before it goes away. when it starts to fade it will look like a small bruise.

l have a problem when l get my TB tests. l am allergic to the whatever they inject and it usually makes my arm red. If its not raised then you are fine. I've also realized that it also depends on how the nurse does it, for instance, if she is alittle rough, it will usually be red and irritated. If it gets worse with each test tell them and you can start having a chest x-ray performed instead of injection.
