So yesterday l went through my first panic attack. l felt really slow then dizzy, felt like l could not breathe or talk.We called 911 and checked everything and said everything was fine it was just a panic attack. After they left l had a huge migraine still saw a little color from the migraine and was completely dizzy and nauseated. Thoese of you who have had a panic attack before what do you do to prevent them, and the next day were you still a little bit shaky? PLEASE only positive answer, l really do not need to hear any more negative things in my life! If you do not have anything nice or positive advice to answer this question! DON'T answer, or l will report you. This is serious to me l felt like l almost lost my life yesterday and Im still traumatized from it, l just need some positive feedback. Thank you all!

3 things, hairtie, water bottle, ipod,. as soon as u feel a panic attack coming on start to play around with the hair tie. if u feel like u cant breath drink the water. it will reasurer u that everything in ur throat is fine. ipod when u feel like ur goonna break down get a nice song stuck in ur head & sing it non stop. dont worry ive had panic attacks before where ive stopped eating for days & had to call my grandpa whos a firefighter to come & make sure that my toungue isnt swelling or my throat isnt closing. just clear ur mind & maybe talk to a counsler. & never ever let ur imagination of ur fears overcome you. then it will be all downhill from there

Hi Muah, You first have to identify what caused u to panic in the first place.2- You have to go for some form of councelling. When l have panic attacks, l have to go home IMMEDIATLEY. It is where l feel safe. And to quote Dr. Phil, ''you can not change what u do not acknowledge.. l suffer from post traumatic stress disorder so l can really empathize with how u feel, especiaaly when ur attacks occur in a public place. You should bring someone with you, back to where u had ur panic attack (only if u feel up to it) & try to recall what was it that started everything & keep a journal.
