l have been taking antibiotics.....sudafed ect....will this last like a week? its been 3 or 4 days

Just kind of depends-- l recommend Muccinex DM.its great! You need to drink plenty of water (it helps all the secretions come out with or without the Muccinex!) Get some rest too!

Mine has lasted 10 days - l am still tired & my head fills up with glue - my husband is 4 days ahead of me on this head cold & he is better now. The BEST medicine is alkaseltzer cold plus - the fizzy tablets - l do not know why, but those make me feel so much better. l also use a nasal rinse (you need to get over the feeling that u r drowning yourself) - but u squeeze this water salt mixture up one nostril & it comes out the other - then u blow ur nose & ALL the gunk comes out - l suggest using it in the shower - u can buy them at any pharmacy.

yeah sweetie it will start to calm down within a week, the second week is alot better but thats when it goes away. its good ur treating it straight away, mine turned into phemonia.

Probably about a week. Do not take antibiotics for a head cold. It is a virus, the antibiotics are not doing anything and your body is going to build up immunity to them.
