l get that problem sometimes; just swallow every time there is a rest that you do not really need to breathe on. Also make sure you're breathing properly; no clavicle breathing. This should give you more air, meaning you will need less time to take breaths and will have more time to swallow, if necessary.

OHHH man that happens to me too! It irratates me so much! l guess you should just keep swalloing it.

Simply rub the insides of your mouth against your teeth. - This helps to collect the saliva into a ''central spot'' above your tongue. - Then swallow. :-)
