Usually l get up a spit out mucus but this time tiny streaks of bright red came out, it was not a lot very very little, but I am worried on what this could be. l spit now there is nothing its normal, it only lasted forlike a couple seconds.
No l do not smoke.
l do not know if this could be related but l have always felt the need to burp and sometimes when l ignore it, it feels like the gas is stuck in my chest and it becomes very uncomfrontable.
one thing l noticed is that it did not have a taste, like you know how blood usually has this distinctive taste, well l did not taste anything.

do you smoke? if so do you smoke menthols? menthol cigaretts have tiny pieces of glass that flow into your lungs with the smoke and can cause your lungs to bleed a little. l remember a friend of mine having that happen to her and she does not smoke now.

I'd go to the doctors if l was you. My husband had that he had pneumonia and almost died because he refused to get treatment

anything else you feel? do you have cough or fever or what? if not, maybe its just the force that caused your throat to bleed. too much pressure when spitting or coughing out mucus may cause lesion on your throat.
