If l smoke a ciggarette about once a week, will l become addicted?

What about once a month?

23 - smoke cigars when I am camping or during celebrations so forth, l smoke cigarettes maybe twice a year. l have never come close to smoking anything like once a month or once a week though.

How quickly before you are addicted? If it was only once a week would l get addicted? Tell me all that you know smokers (without advising to not try it l wanna hear what you think about addiction l am an adult and can make my own decisions.)

(yes l know the health reasons and l do not like ideologies that put everything good in one corner and everything bad in another corner, l thing good tobacco is just fine.)

it is very easy to get addicted. my friends dad can smoke one once a week with out getting addicted. it all depends. but idk if it is worth the risk.

im 17 & ive smoked for 2 years, basically l used to just smoke one after the otheri n college but didnt get addicted quickly l could go through a 20 pack a day handing them out & smoking myself with & around friends that also did, ern l found myself saying l will just buy this last 20 deck just for this party then l wo not but l didnt get addicted untill after smoking 3 weeks for everysingle day its takes 21 days to make a habit & 21 days to break one so unless u have no willpower.. then u wont get physically addicted buddy.

When l started, l thought ' l will just have one every once in a while''. Gradually, it became a little more. l smoked a few cigars every once in a while but stopped after l had a Cuban. All other cigars just tasted like dirt in my mouth. Anyway, my occasional cigarette habit became a full blown addiction by the time l started hitting the bars. l do not drink anymore, but know have a pack a day habit and am having a very hard time quitting.

you need to try to smoke. If you smoke once in a while that is ok.. You inhale more smoke being in a bar and not smoking then smoking a cigarette out of a bar. So you should be fine. Once a week should be ok. It also depends on if you have an addictive personality. So try to limit it to once a month if you can.
