so last week l had a uti and my parents were away...i tried doing the home cures but it just felt uncomfortable so l went to planned parenthood for help and they could get me in till tuesay!! :( so my friend whos mom is nurse gave a little bit antibiotics strong ones that l took for only three days till the symptoms went away. is three days enough days to cure a uti?

depends a bit on the antibiotic but certainly something like trimethoriim can be used for 3 days for an uncomplicated UTi and that can be enough. id be going on ur symptoms. if the burning and frequency have all gone away its enough..if it returns get more antibiotics
