These past few days l have been pretty sick. I've had nausea, sore throat, coughing, runny and stuffy nose (green snot), l was coughing up green and brown stuff, but today I've coughed up blood. Just a few minutes ago it was all blood and it actually had a clot in it.l went to the doctor yesterday and he did not really say what was wrong with me except that l have a double ear infection. He never really said what was going on with my throat, congestion, and stuff so he just gave me antibiotics and a decongestant. Help!!

It sounds like you could have sinusitis or an upper respiratory infection. The antibiotics should take care of all of it.

Coughing blood can be serious. It could be simple upper respiratory tract infection or it can be also serious lower respiratory tract infection like TB, bronchitis or bronchiectesis. But if you have already met a doctor l do not think it could be anything serious. Consult him again if you still have the problem.
