Has anyone had this done or know someone who has? My husband is a terrible snorer and l am awake several times a night. He snores if he is on his back or side there is no difference. l have got ear plugs, have tried spray/ nasal strips etc but no use. l saw an advert inpress yester day for place that used laser/radio frequency treatment and just wondered if it is worth looking into and how much it costs?

l cured my snoring by strengthening my immune system (for other reasons). l signed up to a network markleting mob & took there general well being supplements like vitamins, minerals & antioxidants. This has greatly improved my health as l dont get colds & fluws, sore throats & hayfever any more. l assume my palet strengthened up so l dont snore as near as much. Because my sinus is clear l sleep on my side all the time, the swelling & blocking of the sinus makes u sleep on ur back.
you could probably achieve this by taking a glass of home made aloe vera juice each day, as my supplements r based on aloe..

ok, l know a way, but telling you the truth it does not work with everyone or everytime. Cut Onion(the one that smells strong) and before sleeping keep it near your husband as the smell can come till your husband nose. That worked for me several times.

You cna purchase a product called Slumber Guard which uses the same principles that Doctors actually use to treat snoring.
It is called mandibular advancement therapy, & what it does is hold the lower jaw in a forward position while u sleep in order to stop the jaw allowing the soft palate & tongue to collapse into the throat airway whilst u sleep, causing snoring.
You will find that most problem snoring actually comes from the throat & not from the nasal passages. That is why nasal stips, dialators & sprays often do not work.
You can get Slumber Guard in pharmacies across Australia, & u can also order it online from their website.

l would highly recommend trying one more external device before resorting to surgery. l started snoring a couple of years ago & thought it was no big deal ( l was not the one having to listen to it!). However, my wife told me that not only was it keeping her up at night, but that l would sometimes stop breathing. She was concerned that l might have mild sleep apnea.
The clincher came when l went in for a routine dental appointment. They checked my blood pressure (part of their procedures) & mentioned it looked a little high. l then read that mild sleep apnea as well as snoring sometimes causes high blood pressure. Time to act!
My solution was a plastic device called the PureSleep device. It is a mouthpiece that u bite down on & wear during the night. It pulls ur lower jaw forward allowing air to pass by the soft tissue at the back of the throat without vibrating (which is what a snore is). It is worked wonders for me. The device costs about $60 US. You will find more info including a product review at the links below.
Laser treatment removes some of the soft tissue at the back of the throat. No matter what the advert says about how easy it is, it is still surgery & should be ur last resort. Some questions to ask (in addition to the price, of course) are: What r the risks? How long do the results typically last? (no ''fix'' is permanent) How long or short is the recovery time? & so on.
l hope this provides some .

l know two people that had laser treatment it worked initially but after a couple of years the snoring returned You should try the Stop Snore Ring it is an acupressure ring worn on the little finger when asleep My partner wears one so l know how well it works & there r hundreds of testimonials on their website If he is a heavy snorer they suggest wearing 2 rings one on each little finger but it is a one off purchase & a million times more preferable to invasive surgery which may or not work
